Second Graders are discussing what life was like in America 100 years ago.  How did people get their food, get to places and communicate.  We hope to recreate items that were used by people a century ago.

We continue to explore a variety of stories and comprehension techniques.  We predict what will happen based on the first few pages of a book.  And with another story, we inferred where the story took place.

Our goal in Math is to answer our basic facts faster.  As we begin to explore multiplication and calculate 3 digit problems, it is necessary to become quick with math facts.
