Hello,

We continue to work hard in Second Grade.  We wrote an Expository Composition this week about dragonflies.  The students concentrated on writing a good topic sentence.  We have been exploring 3 dimensional shapes and counting their faces, vertices and edges.   The Second Grade will be joining other classes in a Reconciliation service on April 3, so we will be reviewing the process and thinking about ways we need to improve.  Their has been a squirrel, building his next in a tree outside our classroom window.  We have enjoyed watching him collect various items to put in his nest!
