Hello Second Graders Families,

     We are  measuring the temperature of water in our classroom and then putting it in the snow outside our classroom.  A few times we have even colored the water!  W are surprised how long it takes to freeze.  We have hypothesized that the snow can be an insulator and warm the container of water.

     Telling time, counting money and reviewing our facts keep our math skills sharp.

     The second graders are broadening their choices of book titles.  It is fun to watch their enthusiasm as they discover a new book series or a new piece of information.
